Giant-Wheeled RC-Style Custom Car Spotted in Texas
I'm a recent convert to the world of lifted trucks and custom wheels. I used to think they were super impractical. I mean, can the car in the video at the bottom of this article even turn?
However, I recently bought a used truck that was already lifted, and let me tell you, I'm never going back. Being able to see over the tops of all the other cars is incredible. But my vehicle is only lifted a couple of inches and still has standard wheels. This sucker below is wild! I'll ask again. Can this rascal even make a turn?
Massive-Wheeled RC Lookalike Car Seen in Texas
This custom job was put together at Omar's Wheels in Dallas, Texas. Their specialty is outfitting vehicles with large, flashy tires and wheels. Cars like this are part of a car culture in the South, especially in places like Texas. Some people love modifying older cars by adding large rims, raising the body of the car, and installing custom paint and sound systems. These cars are often called “donks” or “hi-risers,” and they’re all about showing off creativity and personality.

So the next time you see a car that looks like it belongs in a toy aisle, don’t be too surprised, especially if you’re in Texas. Someone out there just decided to turn their childhood dream into a street-legal ride.
