Gretchen Wilson showed up for the Party in 2004, Trace Adkins got married in 1997, Steve Wariner (One of my favorite musicians!) became a cast member of the Grand Ole Opry back in 1996.

• Trace Adkins married Rhonda Forlaw at Nashville's Belle Meade Mansion in front of 800 people in 1997.

• Faith Hill claimed her first gold award for her debut album, Take Me As I Am, in 1994.

• George Strait's "If I Know Me" climbed to Number One on the Billboard country chart in 1991.

• Lester Flatt died in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 64 in 1979.

• Steve Wariner became a Grand Ole Opry cast member in 1996.

• The Everly Brothers debuted on the Grand Ole Opry in 1957.
