In South Texas, wildlife teams sometimes use helicopters to safely catch deer, and a recent 360-degree video shows just how impressive that work can be. The clip features a pilot flying low over the brush, turning smoothly as two whitetail bucks are captured using nets. There is no hunting and no harm involved.

The Pilot of this Helicopter Has Some Serious skills

These crews have special permits and use net guns to gently trap the deer so biologists can move them, study them, or help manage the local population. The goal is to keep the animals healthy and the environment balanced. Once the deer are caught in the nets, people on the ground move in to safely secure and care for them.

What really stands out is how skilled the pilot has to be. They have to follow the deer’s movements, make sharp turns close to the ground, and stay totally focused. It’s not just about flying well. These guys also have to understand how the animals move and work as a team with the people below.
