Proper Gun Safety

Look, I like to shoot guns just as much as the next hombre, but that should be done at a shooting range, or into targets if you have property. Firing a gun into the air is a terrible, potentially life-threatening idea. When a bullet is fired upwards, it eventually loses its momentum and falls back to the ground with enough force to cause serious injury if it hits a person, making celebratory gunfire a dangerous practice.

Houston PD is on the Case

I will give credit where credit is due: They were smart enough to fire off their weapons during fireworks, which would make it hard to distinguish between the two. However, because they recorded it and uploaded the footage to social media, the Houston Police Department is now searching for them, so if you have any information as to the location of this property, reach out to them here.

So what did we learn today?

1. Shooting guns into the air is a big no-no.

2. If you are going to be irresponsible and fire weapons into the air, make sure you record it and upload it to social media so that everyone can enjoy your ignorance.
