An Asian elephant stomped through the snow in its enclosure, kicking up flurries with every step. Over in another area, a river otter had a blast sliding down icy patches, looking like it was having the time of its life.

The Really REALLY Love It

While most people in Texas were stuck dealing with icy roads and freezing weather, the animals got to explore their new snowy world. Zoo staff made sure all the animals were safe and cozy, with heated shelters ready if they needed them. But many, like the elephant and otter, seemed more interested in playing.
