NFL Safety Returns to Wichita Falls, Texas to Start Youth Football Camp
Getting into a youth football camp is a great way to learn the sport. It's even better when you're learning from someone who actually made it to the NFL.
Adrian Colbert Returns to Texoma
Adrian Colbert did spend his high school years in Mineral Wells, Texas. However, he was born right here in Wichita Falls. He would go on to have a career in college playing for the University of Texas at Austin and The University of Miami in Florida.

Adrian was originally drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2017 draft. Since then, he has been a NFL journeymen playing for several teams across the league. He has most recently been a part of the Chicago Bears organization and the future is very bright for them in 2024. Looks like Adrian has come back to his birthplace to give his football knowledge to the next generation.

Over the weekend, Adrian partnered up with our new high school team the Legacy Leopards. “People have always asked me, ‘When are you going to do a camp?’,” Colbert said to KFDX. “I replied, ‘I will do one when I think that it’s right.’ I did not feel it would be right to come here and just host a football camp. I wanted to come here with something of substance that these kids can go back home with.”
