An attempted grab and dash at NorthPark Center in Dallas didn’t go as planned.

Is it just me or are thieves bolder than ever? Back in the day, people would usually try to hide goods in their handbags, pants, or wherever. These days, it seems like thieves are hoping no one around is brave enough to try and stop them.

It turned out there were some folks who weren’t afraid to confront the two guys attempting the grab and dash in the video below.

I’m kind of like one of the people commenting on the video in that I can’t help but wonder if the big guy who put the one would-be thief in the headlock is a store security officer or just a random giant who happened to be there.

Whatever the case may be, it’s good to see people stand up for what’s right. I realize police recommend against intervening in that type of situation. But it seems like the officers on the scene didn’t have a problem with it.

I can’t stress enough that I’m no angel and am not here to pass judgment. I just hope those guys learn their lesson and turn from their ways.
