A study found that a city in North Texas has some of the fastest delivery times in the country. You talk about a nice perk to have this time of year.

I have to admit to being a bad procrastinator when it comes to Christmas shopping. I always have been, and I don’t see that changing any time soon. The main reason is that large crowds kind of weird me out.

Another reason is that I struggle to make up my mind as to what to get someone. Admittedly, that’s when I just get them a gift card. I know some people see that as lazy and thoughtless, but I actually love getting them, so there’s that.

But, knowing I have loved ones who would rather not get a gift card, I tend to shop online for the holidays – and yes, I still tend to drag my feet until the last minute. If that’s you, and you live in Grand Prairie, you’re in luck.

The website AutoDS looked at U.S. Postal Service Ground Advantage statistics to determine which cities had the fastest and slowest delivery times and found Grand Prairie to be among the 20 U.S. cities with the fastest delivery times, with most packages arriving in about three days.

So, keep that in mind, you old Christmas shopping procrastinator. You and I both know you’re going to wait until the last minute to get it done. At least now you know about when the last minute is.
