Just a few weeks away from pitchers and catchers reporting for Major League Baseball and Rangers fans in Wichita Falls who have cut the cord just got some good news.
Texas Rangers Launch Rangers Sports Network
Texas Rangers fans the past few years have been used to watching the team on Fox Sports Southwest or in recent years on Bally's Sports Southwest. The team has had to look for a new home for fans to watch games and they have decided to launch their own.
Rangers Sports Network Channels for Cable/Satellite Subscribers

For those of you that still have cable or satellite. You can find the Texas Rangers on one of those channels above for the majority of the team's 162 game schedule in 2025. The only national televised game on the schedule for this year so far, is Sunday, July 6 at San Diego. That game will air on ESPN, the rest will air on the Texas Rangers Sports Network.
Texas Rangers Announce Free Game Fridays for Wichita Falls!
Nexstar Media Group, Inc. announced that it has reached an agreement with the Texas Rangers Major League Baseball team to televise at least 15 regular season games and four spring training games during the 2025 season. Here in Wichita Falls our channel for the Texas Rangers will be KJBO. The Texas Rangers have not had a local channel cover their games since the 2014 season. So if you have cut the cord, you can tune into the following games with just a simple antenna.

For fans of the Dallas Stars, you probably already know about Victory Plus. The Stars currently broadcast for free on this app. The Texas Rangers will broadcast on this same app for $100 during the 2025 season. You will be able to watch every Texas Rangers game on this app this year (with the exception of the ONE ESPN game mentioned above). We will wait and see how the season goes, but it looks like you have many option to watch the Rangers in 2025.
