Last night was the annual Marching Festival in Wichita Falls. If you missed it, check out some of the performances here.

For over 45 years, the WFISD has put on the Marching Festival. This is way for Texoma area marching bands to get some practice in a competition level environment. Real competitions happen later this month, but this is way for these schools to compete on a field in front of judges before the real thing in a few weeks. Check out some of the schools that competed last night below.

Olney High School Performs 'Inspire'

Electra High School Performs 'Sky Full of Stars'

Archer City High School Performs 'Paranormal'

Knox City High School Performs 'Vacation'

Nocona High School Performs 'Dark Horse'

Seymour High School Performs 'Saddle Up'

Thanks to Julian Castilleja for sharing these on YouTube last night for all of us to enjoy. I was able to find one other performance last night from the Memorial High School Marching band. Unfortunately it's a Facebook reel, so I can't share it here. You can click here to watch that.

Looks like the Texas UIL Region 7 Marching Contest will be October 18 at Memorial Stadium in Wichita Falls. Looks like 19 area high schools will be competing on that Saturday if you want to go. It starts at 10AM and will run through 4:30 on that day if you want to go check it out. You can get some more info for the full schedule on the Texas UIL website.
