Kelly Clarkson kicked off Halloween with a bang! The "Broken and Beautiful" singer performed a cover of Bette Midler’s "I Put A Spell On You" on The Kelly Clarkson Show on Thursday’s (Oct. 31) episode.

Clarkson has been known to begin her show by performing her own spin on another artist’s song, something she refers to as "Kellyoke." For the Halloween episode, the 37-year-old went all out, complete with a decorated stage and elaborate look. She donned Midler's signature fiery red hair and costume from her role in Disney's cult classic Hocus Pocus film.

Midler herself seemed to approve of Clarkson's look and spin on the song. "#KellyClarksonShow! Kelly as Winnie! Fantastic!!" she tweeted.

Clarkson performed a different version than the original, with her take working a more jazz and soulful feel that showcased her vocal range. The number included costumed dancers performing choreography while Clarkson and her two "Sanderson sisters" paraded around the stage.

Midler played the role of the head Sanderson sister, Winifred; alongside Sarah Jessica Parker who played Sarah Sanderson, and Kathy Najimy who portrayed Mary Sanderson. The 1993 film tells the story of three witches that have come back from the dead, and has become a Halloween favorite amongst children and adults alike. Although the film is not a musical, it does feature three songs that have become cult references along with the movie.

Aside from her hosting duties on her new talk show, Clarkson is also coaching on the current season (17) and next season (18) of NBC's The Voice.
