Lindsay Ell's spirit animal is very, very playful. The country singer drew it for us during a recent visit and laughed all the way through the making of her digital paint partner.

In fact the "What Happens In a Small Town" singer whipped through the drawing so quickly, she had time to add a beach ball. Here's a clue: it has fins, but it's not a fish. Do you think you know?

The "Criminal" singer and 2018 Taste of Country RISER talked to Taste of Country at Hometown Rising in Louisville, Ky. in September, and before she took to drawing the animal that represents her, she spoke about her current hit with Brantley Gilbert (and his not-so-scary fans) and her next album, which as it turns out may include a song about her famous ex-boyfriend.

“I just hope that especially he knows that sometimes we just have days where we wake up and it’s like you’re angry at something," she says. Later she'd reveal the song is called "Get Over You."

Ell wasn't the only one to draw their spirit animal. We also gave the pen to Luke Bryan, Little Big Town and more. you can see some of those videos below and subscribe to Taste of Country's YouTube channel to be the first to see more and to learn of breaking country music news.
