Luke Bryan will once again shake it with some country girls at the CMT Music Awards. Bryan's 2019 CMT Awards performance of "Knockin' Boots" recalls a signature performance from the modern superstar.

In 2011, Bryan was joined by a small harem of women dancing around him as he sang "Country Girl (Shake It for Me)" on the CMTs stage. In many ways, that night and that song tilted the trajectory or his career. While not a No. 1 hit, the song would be his signature for years. It arguably still is!

Recognizing that success of that moment from eight years ago, Bryan decided to bring them back for a Wednesday night (June 5 8PM ET) performance of "Knockin' Boots," his newest single from a yet-to-be announced project. Talking to CMT before the show, he promised "thrusts" and "hunches" and shared that he's seen people dancing and swinging in the aisles as he performs the country swinger.

At rehearsals, Bryan says he shared only about 65 percent of what he had planned for the June 5 show at Bridgestone Arena. Sharing too much would indeed be too much for those who rehearsed alongside him for two straight days.

Carlile will team with Tanya Tucker for a joint performance, while Brett Young and Boyz II Men will collaborate live. Thomas RhettLittle Big Town and Trombone Shorty will get together for a broadcast jam, and Sheryl Crow and Maren Morris will perform together.

Carrie Underwood and Kane Brown lead all nominees for an annual prize-giving that kicks off CMA Fest week.
