Well, I take that back. The machete-wielding guy in the video at the bottom of this article looks like he made off with a nice... something.

What is that?

I've been trying to figure out what it is that this rascal thought was so important to steal that he turned it into aggravated assault with a weapon. Please let me know in the comments if anyone can determine what that is.

It looks like the employee planned to push that cart in front of the guy to stop him somehow, but she wisely backs away as soon as she sees the machete. It's not worth getting chopped with a machete for that neck massager or whatever he stole.

In fact, you should never put your life on the line for anything at your job, they have insurance. Back in the 1990s I worked at a grocery store in Waco, Texas called Sack 'n Save, and my boss told me that I had to stop shoplifters if I saw them. No sir, I thought. That is not my job.
