It’s a moronic idea to be stealing to start with, but if you’re going to break the law, it’s probably not a good idea to do it in a store where authorities are holding their annual “Shop With a Cop” event.

Timothy Randall Clark was in a Maryland Walmart during the event. The 22-year-old was apparently Christmas “shopping” and trying to take off with over $500 in video games and accessories.

With 50 police officers in the store, Clark was observed cutting open the items and shoving them into his shirt by the store’s loss prevention unit. They immediately contacted the police, who just happened to be all over the store.

Authorities say they found 26 Play Station and Xbox games, two controllers, and various other video game accessories valued at $635.04.

I’m just wondering what this guy was wearing that he could fit that much stuff into his clothing and actually think he could still walk out of the store.

If I was there I would have snapped photos and posted them to Facebook.
