Maren Morris made a surprise appearance during Zedd's Coachella festival performance on Sunday (April 21).

Morris collaborated with Zedd on their No. 1 hit "The Middle" along with Grey. Zedd welcomed Morris to the stage to perform "The Middle" to the delight of concert-goers at the festival.

"Oh baby, why don't you just meet me in the middle? / I'm losing my mind just a little / So why don't you just meet me in the middle? / In the middle," Morris sings in the chorus.

This marked Morris' first time attending and performing at the iconic music festival. After her performance, Morris shared on her Instagram stories that she took the time to enjoy Ariana Grande's headlining set.

Zedd also brought out special guest Alessia Cara to perform "Stay" on Sunday night. Zedd's first weekend of Coachella also included special guest Katy Perry, who performed "On My Mind."

Coachella is a primarily pop, electronic, and R&B music festival held on the same grounds in California as country music's own Stagecoach Festival. Kacey Musgraves was the only country performer at this year's Coachella festival for both weekends.

Morris is currently on her Girl: The World Tour, with support from Cassadee Pope and Raelynn on select dates before the tour heads overseas. This fall Morris will support Miranda Lambert on her Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars Tour alongside a rotating cast that includes Pistol Annies, Ashley McBryde, Elle King, Caylee Hammack, and Tenille Townes.
