Mitchell Tenpenny's "Alcohol You Later" music video shows what happens when you drink too much and pick up your phone.

The clip opens appropriately, with Tenpenny pouring himself a stiff drink, then transitions between him drinking at home and at the bar. Interspersed between shots of him rocking his guitar and sipping something strong is the story of his relationship with a woman and their drunken nights together ... that always wrap up at his place.

"And now it's one more last time / We swore we wouldn't / But it's one more sunrise breaking through these curtains / And I know when we're sober we'll both say, "it's over" / But it ain't really over / Cause alcohol, alcohol, alcohol you later / Alcohol, alcohol, alcohol you later,"  Tenpenny sings in the chorus.

If he's being honest, the up-and-coming country singer admits he was shocked that this song — with its clever, play-on-words title — hadn't been written already. "Alcohol You later" follows his breakout No. 1 hit "Drunk Me".

The video was directed by TJ McKamy. "It was fun getting to film the entire video in Printers Alley," Tenpenny tells Taste of Country. It's a place I've grown up going to. I used to do karaoke there and drink at the bars!"

Tenpenny will be touring extensively this spring and summer, headlining and support shows, including on Old Dominion's Make It Sweet Tour and Luke Bryan's Sunset Repeat Tour alongside Cole Swindell.
