Dang, at first I thought the sunset in the video at the bottom of this article was one of those artificial intelligence-created videos, it's just so surreal and beautiful, I didn't think it could be real. The other night in Houston, the sky looked so wild that people weren’t even sure it was real. To the west, the sunset lit up the sky with bright orange and pink colors, while to the east, a big thunderstorm made the clouds look dark and heavy.

Beautiful Texas Sunset Lights Up the Evening

As the sun continued to sink lower, its light stretched across the storm, making the clouds appear a stunning golden color. The difference between the calm, glowing sunset on one side and the stormy, threatening sky on the other looked so unreal that dummies like me thought it was computer-generated.

But it's not fake, no sir. It was just a perfect mix of two very Houston things. I'm talking about a bold Gulf Coast sunset and one of those surprise summer storms that seem to pop up out of nowhere.
