Let me tell you something, buddy, I've been to this party almost every year, and I'll let you know right now you don't want to miss it!

If you’re looking for something to do this weekend in Wichita Falls, head over to 9th and Ohio for the Burn Shop Block Party and Triple Steak Cook Off. It’s basically two nights of live music, good food, and hanging out with friends.

Tagan Gann, one of the organizers of the event, said, "We are excited to add Friday night's free festivities this year, Downtown Royalty! Margarita competition and steak competition on Friday night. Saturday, we will be selling tickets at the gate for steak (while they last) and general admission."

Triple Steak Cook Off and Burn Shop Party Hit Wichita Falls

So, as Tagan said, things kick off on Friday, September 26. The steak contest starts at 7 p.m., and then at 8 p.m., there’s a free concert from the band Downtown Royalty right in front of The Burn Shop.

On Saturday, September 27, the gates for the steak cook-off are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Later that night, the music starts up again with Punch and Whiskey and Escape Goats. At 7 p.m., you can grab a steak dinner before the main show. Kody West hits the stage at 9:30 p.m.
