Identity of Hostage Taker Shot and Killed in Wichita Falls Released

The man shot and killed during a hostage situation in Wichita Falls Thursday night has been identified as 18-year-old Miguel Angel Silva.

Silva was shot and killed by a member of SWAT after he took two hostages at Garrison's Food Mart just after 10:00 p.m. Thursday night.

Silva was pronounced dead at the scene. Both hostages walked away unharmed.
