It started off like any other day for one police officer, but things took a wild turn when the suspect decided to pull an unexpected move—by dragging the officer with his vehicle. Let's break down the footage.

As the video opens, a man in a blue shirt runs toward a car parked at a gas pump. A cop is running behind him. The man jumps in the car and attempts to drive off. The cop reaches through the open door to keep the man from driving off, so the suspect puts it in reverse and drags the cop into the pump behind them.

Two more cops show up from off-camera and start unloading rounds from their guns into the car as it shifts back into drive and takes off.

Luckily, the officer involved only suffered minor injuries, but the whole incident is yet another reminder of how quickly things can spiral out of control.
