Earlier this year, it was revealed that Reba McEntire will lend her voice to the upcoming animated film Spies in Disguise, which also stars Will Smith. Now, a trailer for the movie has been released, and it's narrated by the country megastar.

"You might recognize a familiar voice in the new @spiesindisguise trailer!!!" McEntire says in sharing the trailer on her Instagram account. While the "Fancy" singer doesn't make a physical appearance in this clip, it's been confirmed that she'll portray a character in Spies in Disguise.

A rep for 20th Century Fox tells Taste of Country:

"Reba's character is Joy Jenkins, the Director of Lance and Walter’s agency. Her nickname is 'Joyless' suggesting, she’s a pretty tough nut. Harsh and demanding, she doesn’t have many soft spots, but there is a small one and it’s for Lance."

Will Smith plays Lane, the super-spy who gets turned into a pigeon by a scientist named Walter Beckett (Tom Holland). A series of unintended events pairs the unlikely duo together, and they must work as a team to save the world. Rashida Jones will voice a character named Marcy Kappe, while DJ Khaled will play a character named Ears. Rachel Brosnahan will voice Gidget Garcia and Karen Gillian will voice a character called Eyes.

McEntire has plenty of previous acting experience, most notably from her sitcom Rebawhich aired from 2001-2007. She received acclaim for her role in the show and even received a Golden Globe nomination in 2003. The Country Music Hall of Famer has also appeared in several movies throughout her career, including Tremors and Charlotte's Web.

She continues a busy 2019 after releasing her Stronger Than the Truth album on April 5. Next up for McEntire is co-hosting the 2019 CMA Awards alongside Dolly Parton and Carrie Underwood for this year's awards. The show airs Nov. 13 on ABC.

Spies in Disguise will be released on Christmas Day.
