Every parent that has a newborn at home, has been dealing with the baby formula shortage that has affected our entire nation.  Many parents have been driving all over the state trying to find formula for their newborns.  Some have been driving for over two hours just to find baby formula to purchase.  Thankfully, one North Texas restaurant has stepped up to the plate to help out families in need.

Our Place Restaurant, which is located in Mansfield, has been serving burgers, chicken fried steak, and salads to customers for years.  The local restaurant has been able to acquire pallets of baby formula from its distributor that it orders its food ingredients from.  KDFW is reporting that the restaurant received 20 boxes of formula last Monday morning.

The restaurant’s owner is giving back to the community by giving baby formula to customers who have newborn babies at home, free of charge.  The restaurant’s owner Benji Arslanovski told KDFW that since his customers helped him out by supporting his restaurant during the pandemic, he wants to return the favor by giving baby formula to the families who need it most.

Any parent who has an infant at home can pick up baby formula from the restaurant free of charge.  While the restaurant is getting new shipments of baby formula regularly, Arskabivski asks that parents call the business ahead of time to get on the list.  You can contact the restaurant by calling  817-473-9996, or by visiting their website at https://ourplacerestaurants.com/mansfield/.
