Robot Replaces Human Workers at Wichita Falls, Texas QT
Pretty much everybody is familiar with the convenience store franchise Buc-ees, which is famous for its clean bathrooms and enormous layout. But if you hate crowds like I do, it is not exactly a place you want to ever be in. That is why I prefer the smaller franchise, QT. They are just as clean, have many of the same services, but they are usually much less crowded. We recently had a QT open up on Old Iowa Park Road in Wichita Falls, Texas.
What I have noticed since they opened is that every single time I walk into that place, without fail, an employee is mopping. These men and women keep that bad boy spotless. But alas, when I walked into the store today, it was still getting mopped, but this time by a dang ol' robot!
Wichita Falls QT Replaces Workers With Robot
That cute little guy you can see in the video below was just going about his business cleaning the store, looking like R2D2's cousin who didn't go to college. He was just bopping around the store, doing his thing. This hunk of plastic and gears talks, too! If you listen really closely to the video below, you can hear it talk at the very end. Pretty cool!

I'm not necessarily cool with robots taking jobs from humans, but when it comes to mopping, a task I don't think any person wants to do, I'll allow it.
