Something very special will be happening at The Forum on April 25th! That's the day that the Sounds of Speedway series welcomes Bennie Wheels & Walkin' The Line to their historic stage.

Whether your introduction to country music was Flatt & Scruggs or Keith Urban you've heard of Johnny Cash, the man in black, and his music has influenced almost every artist in country music as well as several other generes. While Johnny isn't with us any more, his music lives on and The Forum welcomes one of the most sought after Johnny Cash tribute artists to their stage on Thursday, April 25th.

Johny's former drummer, W.S. "Fluke" Holland said, "You guys do great ... I'm very proud of what you do." And Bob Wooten, Johnny's former lead guitar player, says, "Bennie is no doubt the best tribute to John I've ever seen."

Bennie Wheels & Walkin' The Line are part of the Sounds of Speedway music series at The Forum, 2120 Speedway, in Wichita Falls. The series highlights a different style of music with each performance and the 2019 season starts in true country form with Bennie's Johnny Cash tribute show; moves on to rock with the Maylee Thomas band in May, touches base with soul, blues and gospel with Malford Milligan in June; welcomes the Clone Mountain Boys in August; Kevin Davis in September; and finishes with Michael Hix in October.

Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 the day of the show. All concerts are BYOB (beer and wine only) and food will be available for purchase.
