Pretty cool that downtown Wichita Falls recently got shown some love.

Looks like the plan was to expand several decades, but that never came to be. So what happened?

Now that spring is finally here, and the weather is warming up, you can hop on a scooter, and explore everything that Downtown Wichita Falls has to offer.

Riding a scooter when you’re drunk is really bad idea to begin with. Not only could you get hurt, but you could be arrested and charged with a DWI as well.

The Leadership Wichita Falls Event is this Saturday

Participants are encouraged to dress in their best ‘70s style athletic wear and will be led through the course by “coaches”. Not wanting anyone to over exert themselves there are several “rest stops” along the way.

Emanuel Salvadorian and Mexican Cuisine will soon be taking over the unique structure at 9th & Broad that has been home to at least three other businesses since it was first built over a decade ago.

A new tech company has moved into Big Blue in downtown Wichita Falls.

On the first Thursday evening of each month from April through October you’ll find dozens of local artists displaying their work inside various studios and galleries downtown. There are so many, in fact, that several of the exhibits will be outside on the sidewalks!

Downtown Wichita Falls has another new gathering place and it’s called the Half Pint Taproom & Restoration Hall. Check out the photos and thoughts about our experience at the soft opening over the weekend.
