Texas rockers, Whiskey Myers, are set to release their fourth studio album this September - today fans got their first big glimpse of Mud. For the album, Cody Cannon and the boys teamed up once again with GRAMMY-winning, super-producer, Dave Cobb (Jason Isbell, Sturgill Simpson, Chris Stapleton, and many more), who also produced 2014's Early Morning Shakes...

Over the weekend Whiskey Myers was turning heads at Americana Music Fest in Nashville. Rolling Stone Country highlighted performances from the festival with a series of "Best" designations, i.e. "Best Supergroup" or "Best Living Legend."

Most lyric videos are a quick way for a band to get a song on YouTube, more often than not the bands don't even appear in them. And there is nothing wrong with that. But when a band not only takes the time to actually be in their lyric video, but releases an obviously well planned and executed video, you've got to stand up and acknowledge it.

The new year will see Whiskey Myers release their third studio album, and first since 2011. "Firewater," their most recent project was a Southern Rock at it's core -- and the task of following it up will be tough.
