He was watching porn while sitting at the teacher’s desk, and it didn’t take long for students to notice what was going on.

What is He Doing?

A local news station, KPRC 2, got a video from inside the classroom showing Hartley behind the desk. The station decided to blur out the students’ faces in the video to protect their privacy. They also removed parts of the audio where the video Hartley was watching could be heard in the background.

Court records and statements from students confirmed it was Hartley, even though the school district and its police department didn’t officially say his name at first. When a reporter tried to get more information, the school’s spokesperson said the police were still handling the details, like the charges and Hartley’s mugshot.

Arrested

Hartley was arrested but was released from jail after paying a $100 bond. When reporters went to his home, no one was there. Klein ISD, the school district, made it clear that Hartley has been fired and will never work in their schools again. They also said they’re reporting him to all the right authorities so something like this doesn’t happen again.
