In the video, the sun slowly sinks, turning the sky into a swirl of gold, orange, and deep purple. That happens every evening at Palo Duro Canyon, a huge and beautiful place in Texas, just outside Amarillo.

Millions of Years in the Making

This canyon wasn’t made overnight. It took millions of years for wind and water to carve out the deep cliffs, twisting trails, and giant rock formations. But when the sun hits just right, it looks like something from another world. The red and orange rocks start glowing, the shadows stretch across the land, and everything feels peaceful like nature is showing off.

Texas is Amazing

Some people hike through the canyon, while others camp under the stars. But if you really want to see how amazing it is, looking at it from the sky gives you a whole new perspective. From above, the trails look like veins running through the land, and the cliffs rise up like ancient castles. It makes you realize how huge and wild Texas really is.
