Texas Ranked Among the 20 Fattest States in America

Hey, at least we’re not Number One on the list.

Since November is National Diabetes Awareness Month, WalletHub conducted a study to determine 2019's fattest states in the U.S. The results were determined by using 29 key metrics ranging from share of overweight and obese population to sugary-beverage consumption among adolescents to obesity-related health care costs.

The Lone Star State landed at Number 16 on the list, while our neighbors to the north came in at Number 6.

I hope I didn't just ruin your Thanksgiving.
