Texas Suspect Flips Fence During Wild Police Chase
With officers closing in, a suspected car thief attempts a front flip over a barbed-wire fence to escape in a video you can watch by scrolling down to the bottom of this article.
As the video opens, we see the driver leap from the vehicle and sprint toward a tall fence. And, in what could only be described as a last-ditch effort for freedom, they hurled themselves over it.

But it was hardly the smooth, slick move we’ve come to expect from action heroes. The jump wasn’t graceful, nor was it nearly fast enough to outsmart the officers.
At this point, from the view of the camera, it appears as if he might get away, but as soon as he gets back up on his feet, a police SUV comes flying into the frame and cuts the man off. He immediately throws his hands up and surrenders. As he gets on his knees with his hands on his head, the cop driving the SUV form tackles him to the ground.
