Throwback Thursday: Gary And Jay From Rascal Flatts Perform On TBN in 1997 [VIDEO]

A few years before Rascal Flatts was a group topping the country music charts, Gary Levox and Jay DeMarcus made this appearance on TBN. The band had not yet formed, but the two sang along with Christian Musician Michael English during this broadcast from 1997.

The two future members of Rascal Flatts had worked with English on his latest album, providing background harmonies and vocals. DeMarcus was at the time in Chely Wright's band which was where he met guitarist Joe Don Rooney.  A few years later the entire band came together and formed Rascal Flatts.  The rest, as they say, is history.
