Watch Train Tracks Shortcut Disaster for Texas Driver
The Deep Ellum area in Dallas, Texas is an artsy and vibrant district where you can catch up-and-coming artists doing their thing every night of the week. It's truly inspiring to hang out there.
Maybe the driver in the video at the bottom of this article was inspired to think outside of the box when navigating the streets after visiting such a unique spot. Or maybe she's just a bad driver.
Backfired Quickly
In a move that’s equal parts bold and baffling, this driver somehow thought the rails would make for a decent shortcut. Maybe it was the pressure of city traffic, or perhaps they were just trying to channel their inner action movie star. Either way, the decision quickly backfired when reality (and physics) caught up with them.
That is Going to be a Bumpy Ride
We can see why she thought it would be doable at first. The area where she pulled in has sunken tracks like you would find where a railroad crosses a street. Those are easy to drive on regardless of your suspension. However, after just a few yards, they turn into actual train tracks, and you are not going to get very far driving down those in a Nissan Murano.
Successful Escape
After successfully reversing up the tracks, she manages to get the car off the tracks and out of harm's way!
Don't try this at home, kids!
