Trisha Yearwood says that not one, but two A Star Is Born actors saw her world tour live show with husband Garth Brooks in 2017, and she was totally starstruck by Bradley Cooper.

Yearwood recalls to People that Cooper researched out to the country couple during the tour because he was researching superstar musicians for a then-upcoming acting role. He ended up staying for the full show.

"We played in L.A., and Bradley Cooper stayed for the whole show. He was in research mode for A Star Is Born and came backstage," she says. "Garth was like, 'Wow, all the women on this tour suddenly want to be in the meet and greet!'"

That included Yearwood, and she says that the actor was really nice and "made you feel immediately comfortable."

"You just were like: Wow, it’s so cool to meet somebody who's doing so well," she says, "And you are a little starstruck."

Cooper's A Star Is Born co-star, Lady Gaga, attended a separate date of the tour. Brooks and Yearwood have become big fans. Speaking to The Late Show With Stephen ColbertBrooks remarked that, "Bradley Cooper was phenomenal, the fact that he directed all of that stuff is unbelievable" and that the actors' depiction of a live concert was pretty spot-on, as was how they portrayed the music industry.
