UPDATE (10/22/15 5:25 PM): Iowa Park Police say that a suspect is in custody and that almost all of the dogs have been recovered. There are unconfirmed reports that the suspect was arrested in Iowa park and that the dogs were found outside of Iowa Park in carriers with rain pouring into them.

The city of Iowa Park is seeking your help with any information about a theft that occurred this morning.

Between 5am and 8am on Thursday, October 22nd, twenty six Italian Greyhound dogs were stolen from the Iowa Park Animal Reclaim Center. The dogs had been rescued from a warehouse in Iowa Park on Monday, October 19th.

The dogs were being held in a temporary shelter by the Iowa Park Animal Control Officer and the Iowa Park Police Department when they were stolen.
