Uncle Lucius Announces They Are Breaking Up
For over a decade one of Austin’s best bands -- singers of hits such as “Everybody Got Soul,” “Pocket Full of Misery,” and “Liquor Store” -- Uncle Lucius have relentlessly toured across Texas, to both coasts and back.
Yesterday lead singer and founder, Kevin Galloway, announced that he will be moving on from the band.
Over the past 12 years, four albums, and so much Texas soul, one of Texas' weirdest bands had built one of its most ravenous fan bases. In his announcement, Galloway also revealed that their final show will be in March '18.
This one hurts.
