Unique Dallas, Texas McDonald’s – A Regrettable Makeover
Why? Why would they do this?
When it comes to fast food, McDonald's is a brand that needs no introduction. But what happens when the golden arches receive a makeover that leaves locals and visitors scratching their heads? In Dallas, Texas, a unique McDonald's transformation has taken place, sparking both intrigue and regret. Join us as we explore the curious case of Dallas' McDonald's, where fast food meets bizarre facelifts and unexpected transformations.
TikTok user @TheStreetWiew recently posted the video at the bottom of this article, and it has me all up in my feelings.

I used to live right down the road from this McDonald's, and it made me so happy every time I drove by it. I just always thought about how awesome it would have been to go to this one when I was a kid. I mean, look at it! It looks like a dang ol' happy meal.
This would be every kid on Earth's favorite store, right? According to the video, it was built in the 1980s
Abandoned?
Also, according to the video, this location was abandoned for several years. I haven't lived in that area for over thirteen years, so that may very well be the case, I'll just take their word for it.
Changing for the worse
The video says it was made over and redesigned in 2016 to look like every other modern McDonald's. Boooooring!
Petitions have been filed to turn it back the old way, but that costs money, so I wouldn't expect those petitions to lead to anything.
