
Windows Shattered as Texas Hailstorm Roars Through Town
The weather in Texas is wild this time of year. It can be eighty degrees and sunny Monday, then turn around on Tuesday, have freezing temperatures, and pound us with ice and freezing rain.
Kerville, Texas, was the latest city in Texas to be the victim of our crazy spring weather. They got slammed with golfball-sized hail last night, and one resident recorded the hail breaking through their ceiling and crashing into the living room, even bouncing off of their television. Texas hailstorm shatters windows and roars like a freight train
Possibly the craziest part of the video is the sound the storm is making. The person who posted the video wrote that it sounded like a freight train coming through the living room.

Experts say that storms like this may become more common because of changes in the climate. Warmer temperatures can make storms more powerful, leading to extreme weather in places that are already used to rough conditions. Now, insurance companies are getting ready for tons of claims from people who need repairs.
