Dallas Roundabout Turns Dangerous at 2AM

I'm going to say it right now. I can not stand these 'around abouts.' There is one in Waco where I grew up called The Circle, and let me tell you, these things are just downright confusing. Especially if it is your first time seeing one.

I'm assuming both drivers in the video at the end of this article had no idea how one is supposed to navigate one of these rascals. Of course, most people out driving past 2 am are most likely coming from a bar, so that might be a factor here as well.

Dallas Roundabout Turns Dangerous at 2 AM

As the video opens, we see two vehicles approaching an around about. Despite the clearly marked arrows that direct you to drive to the right, the driver of the red car decides to go left, as that looks like the shortest distance to the direction they want to drive.

Once the red car turns left, a white SUV takes off in the correct direction and starts hauling butt. They go so fast that at one point, they lose control and kind of bounce off the curb a little bit. I'm wondering if they were worried that the red car going in the wrong direction would still be traveling around the circle, and were trying to drive that fast to avoid them. Who knows?
