Chainsaw Ice Skating Is Real and You May Drown If You Try It
The winter weather that tortured a good chunk of the country this year is behind us now, which may be for the best.
This video introduces us to a not-quite-there-yet hobby called chainsaw ice skating, in which a man goes on the ice while operating a chainsaw on the frozen water. It looks utterly delightful and like a wholesome pastime for the kids to play, since there's absolutely no chance anything bad can happen (disclaimer: read that last sentence with a high level of sarcasm).
We're not sure who came up with this idea, but it proves that American ingenuity is not dead, not by a long shot. Why, we can just imagine the most enjoyable thing to do after a rousing round of chainsaw ice skating is lighting up a cigarette while filling up the gas tank in your car before heading out for a competitive game of "who can hold the grenade the longest before it detonates."
