Here's a great way to enjoy a delicious meal, bid on some amazing silent auction items, and help out a local person going through a tough time.

Just a few weeks ago, Dawn Dunn suffered a bilateral stroke and is self-employed without medical insurance. She was recently moved to Encompass Health Rehabilitation center as part of her long road to recovery. As you can imagine, the medical bills and other issues are piling up. So her friends decided to throw a benefit luncheon to raise some much needed funds to ease the burden on the family and let them focus on Dawn.

This is one of those occasions where everyone wins. You get a great chopped brisket or pulled pork sandwich, chips and a soft drink from Andy Ray's BBQ for just $10 ($7 for kids), and Dawn gets some help with the mounting expenses and extensive rehab she's going through.

While you're there you can bid on some great silent auction items like your own Andy Ray's BBQ party, an off shore fishing trip out of Matagorda/Freeport, Texas, and more.
