Don’t Miss Sheriff Duke’s Dynamite Chili Fest this Weekend
Have you ever wanted to taste the best chili in town? Well, you’re in luck! For the 8th year in a row, Wichita County Sheriff David Duke is hosting the Dynamite Chili Fest, and it’s happening on Saturday, February 1.

This awesome event is open to everyone, and it will be packed with amazing food, fun, and some friendly competition.
It's Going Down at the Elk's Lodge
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Elks Lodge, located at 4205 Seymour Highway. You’ll get to try all kinds of delicious chili, listen to music, and even check out a silent auction and a cool country store with baked goodies. It’s a perfect way to spend the day with your family or friends.
Open Bean Cook-Off
If you think your chili has what it takes, you can enter the chili cookoff, which is part of the Chili Appreciation Society International competition. It’s only $10 to join, but make sure you turn in your entry by 11 a.m. sharp.
There Will Be A Lot to Eat
Not looking to cook but ready to eat? The Wichita County Sheriff’s Citizens’ Alumni Association has you covered. They’ll be serving up chili bowls for $4, Frito chili pie for $5, hot dogs for $2.50, and chili dogs for $4. Plus, all the money raised will go toward supporting the Alumni Association, so you’re helping a good cause while enjoying some amazing food.
Don’t miss out on this fun and tasty day!
