Facebook Fight Lands Texas Man in Jail

I bet this guy's relationship status on Facebook just changed to 'Single'.

36-year old Benito Apolinar of Pecos, Texas is facing battery charges after he hit his wife, Dolores, and pulled her hair because she did not respond to his Facebook status update.  Benito updated his Facebook status with information about the anniversary of his mother's death, and became enraged when his wife did not click the  'Like' button.

Police say the fight began when Benito expressed to his wife that he was upset at her lack of interaction and that she did not respond as others did.

Facebook can definitely be credited for bringing people together, but if taken too seriously and abused then it will surely tear people apart as well.
