So your favorite horse didn't win the Triple Crown this year? No worries, there's still the North Texas Heritage Classic Horse Race this Saturday!

The races will be held in the open area between the Kickapoo Airport on Jacksboro Highway and Henry S. Grace freeway. Just turn East onto Hatton Road from Jacksboro Highway and follow the signs.

The racing starts at 4:00pm and it's just $10 for spectators (Military and kids under 5 get in free), so bring the whole family out to see how they raced their horses in the old days.

The First Place Prize is $500 and the entry fee is only $25, so if you've got a horse you think is fast, what are you waiting for?

It's all good fun, and it all benefits the Wichita Falls Museum of North Texas History.
