
Wichita Falls Benefit Next Week to Help Families Affected in Archer County
Over the weekend two teenage boys were tragically killed in an ATV accident in Archer County. A benefit will be taking place next week to help the families dealing with this horrific loss.
Over the weekend, you probably saw many sharing prayers for Archer County. Two families are unfortunately dealing with the loss of their teenage boys who were killed while riding in an open pasture on an ATV. The boys were driving in Can-Am All-Terrain vehicle when it rolled over causing severe injuries to the boys.
Archer City and Windthorst Cancel Classes This Week
Each of the boys attended different schools in Texoma. One at Archer City and the other at Windthorst. Both schools have cancelled classes at the end of this week for any students or teachers that want to attend the funerals for the two boys. The school districts have also announced grief counselors are available for any students that are having difficulty dealing with the loss of one of their classmates.
Benefit Lunch Planned at P2 in Wichita Falls for Funeral Expenses
Please note this lunch was originally scheduled for August 20th. Due to the proximity to the funeral, it has been moved to next Thursday, August 27th at P2 in downtown Wichita Falls. These two families are dealing with this unexpected loss right now and many want to help out.
