Buying Ice Cream Tomorrow Helps Out Wichita Falls Hospital
Tomorrow is the annual Miracle Treat Day at Dairy Queen and you can help out a hospital right here in Wichita Falls.
Let's see, tomorrow is another triple digit day in Wichita Falls. Not uprising given the time of year. One of my personal favorite ways to cool off is with some ice cream and when it comes to fast food ice cream, Dairy Queen has some of the best. The Dairy Queen blizzards tomorrow will actually be helping out a local hospital.
Miracle Treat Day July 30th
A dollar or more from every blizzard sold tomorrow will be going to Children's Miracle Hospitals throughout the country. Children's Miracle Network operates 170 children's hospitals across the United States and Canada. Here in Wichita Falls, United Regional is a part of the Children's Miracle Network. Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network has connected hospitals with donors, partners and local communities to raise funds that enable the best possible care for all kids. From life-changing treatments to routine exams and support for advanced research and technology, funds raised in a community go to its local children’s hospital.
“Giving back is a big part of who are at DQ restaurants in Texas,” said Lou Romanus, CEO of Texas Dairy Queen’s Operator’s Council. “We look forward to Miracle Treat Day every year, knowing that DQ fans across Texas can help make a difference for children in our communities by simply enjoying their favorite Blizzard Treat.”
Final Week for New Dairy Queen Blizzards
Now I am standard chocolate chip cookie dough blizzard guy. If you haven't had these yet, they will be going away on August 3rd. Strawberry Mango Mochi, Mexican Hot Chocolate, and Biscoff Cookie. Give them a try tomorrow and help out a great cause.
