A Texas mom had a plan to prevent her son from being bullied, but it didn't go the way she thought.

Stolen Drinks Lead to a Sick Kid

Let's face it, bullies will sadly never go away. Jennifer Lynn Rossi has a son who attends Legacy Traditional School in Alamo Ranch. Her son kept complaining that his drink was getting stolen while at school. So mom had a genius idea. Setup a bait drink. Jennifer Lynn Rossi allegedly mixed lemon, salt and vinegar into a sports drink. If someone were to happen to drink it, you shouldn't have, because it is not yours.

Here's Where the Plan Goes Wrong

I am all for getting back at someone who is stealing your stuff. However, Mrs. Rossi's son did not wait for his drink to get stolen. He willingly gave it to another kid in his class that drank the spiked drink. Obviously this concoction isn't going to kill the kid, but they did get quite sick after drinking it. The kid did have to go to the hospital and an investigation went underway and that's when we found out this drink was intentionally spiked.

Jennifer Lynn Rossi Charges

Jennifer Lynn Rossi has been charged with injury to a child causing bodily injury, was transported and booked into the jail on her charge. She is being held on a $1,000 bond.

I am all for some old school justice when it comes to thieves. However, the kid willingly handing over the drink means you're going to have to face the consequences of your actions. Sorry.
