The Texas Department of Transportation shared some upcoming road projects for our area through 2030. Do you know of any others they should address?
From now, until May 19th, TxDOT is asking for the public's input on their upcoming Rural Transportation Improvement Program. They have several projects that will be taking place over the next four years in the following counties.

Clay County Upcoming Projects
Cooke County Upcoming Projects
Montague County Projects
Throckmorton County Projects
Wichita County Projects
Wilbarger County Projects
Young County Projects
TxDOT Asks for Your Input on These Upcoming Projects
The Texas Department of Transportation asks for your comments on the upcoming projects if you have any. All information on how to leave a comment can be found on this form. Any comments submitted after May 19th will not be read, so be sure you get that done in the next two weeks if you have any.
What is the 2027-2030 Rural TIP?
TIP stands for Transportation Improvement Program. The goal for these projects in our area, is to eventually improve the roads to be a part of a Statewide Transportation Improvement Program. This is just the first step to getting better improved roads here in Texas.
