
Jason Aldean Told His Oldest Daughter to ‘Pump the Brakes’ on Having Kids
Now that Jason Aldean has revealed that his oldest daughter, Keeley, is a married woman who "graduated from college and got married about a year ago," one of the first questions on people's minds is if Aldean is going to become a grandpa anytime soon.
But the country superstar doesn't seem too enthused with the idea — at least, not yet.
While anything is possible and it is certainly out of the hitmaker's control, Aldean is kindly asking his daughter to hold off on having kids for now.

Appearing on Country Countdown USA with Lon Helton, Aldean was asked if he was ready to become a grandpa yet.
Aldean said, "No, I told her to pump the brakes on that. Don’t be in a hurry. More for my sake, I think. But it’ll happen when the time’s right."

When Aldean says "more for my sake," that, to me, means that he isn't quite ready to be referred to as a grandfather.

Maybe he feels that will age him out of his position atop country music? If so, that certainly would not be the case, as many country music icons with just as much success as Aldean have grandkids and are still playing shows.
When Will Jason Aldean Become a Grandfather?
Keely is 23 and married. The average age of a woman at the birth of her first child in Tennessee is 26 years old, according to the National Center for Family and Marriage Research.
Going just by the stats, Aldean would be set to become a grandpa in 2029.
