Here's something that looks like it's going to be a lot of fun. And it's FREE!

The Kell House is showing the old 1922 black and white thriller, Nosferatu, on the lawn this Friday night (10.21.11).

Just in case you don't remember the big box office blowouts from 1922, Nosferatu was an unauthorized silent film version of Bram Stoker's novel,  Dacula. You can find all sorts of scenes and trailers on YouTube. Here's one of the trailers someone put together.

The Kell House will begin showing this classic silent movie about 7:30 pm and admission is free. They will not be providing any chairs or refreshments, so treat it like a picnic ... in the dark ... with a scary movie being shown on a sheet hanging over the fence ... just days before Halloween ...

Sounds like fun to me!

If you'd like to know more, just call the Kell House at 940.723.2712.
